itty bitty living space

I was listening to some of my classmates complain about their living arrangements today. For example, they pay 100/euro a month for internet for each room. Also, the laundry service down the street from them is 7/euros to wash and dry, not including the soap. Finally, their rooms are tiny, with nowhere to sit, other than the bed.

Here is my apartment:

Now, I am not going to say Liana was a genius for convincing me not to live with the younger crowd, but at a minimum, she was right. My internet is included, the building I am in has two washers and two dryers and the soap is free. Further, I have a couch, some chairs and my kitchenette, where I do some rockin' cooking. And I pay a little less. By booking three months in advance, they gave me a discount on the price. Boo-yah.

When I told my classmates all this, they wanted to come over and do laundry and hang out. Shows what I am good for.

In other news, my favorite overstock website (www.steepandcheap.com) launched a new site for biking stuff: www.chainlove.com

My very good friends in San Jose, CA began bike commuting recently; you should, too.
